Narrow Trail Brotherhood
Men. Outdoors. Brotherhood. The narrow trail of following Christ.
Narrow Trail Brotherhood is a Christian men's fellowship and discipleship community based near Mississauga.
We gather men around the outdoors - archery, hunting preparation, wilderness skills - and we open the Scriptures together.
Some men arrive as men of faith. Many come faith curious. All are invited to walk the narrow trail that leads to life.
Our Mission
Narrow Trail Brotherhood exists to call men into real brotherhood, real discipleship, and real encounter with God through the outdoors.
We believe the trail that leads to life is narrow. It is a path of repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, obedience, courage, and love for others.
We use archery, hunting preparation, and time in the wilderness as tools to bring men together, build trust, and open the Bible in an honest way.
We are not a replacement for the local church. We are an arm that reaches men, sharpens men, and sends them back to serve faithfully in their homes and churches.
Christ Centered
Jesus Christ and His Word are at the center of everything we do.
Outdoors Forged
We use nature, skills, and challenge to forge brotherhood and character.
For Men Of Faith And Faith Curious
We welcome committed believers and men who are wrestling with what they believe.
The Path We Walk Together
Narrow Trail Brotherhood is not just a one off event. It is a progression. We start simple and build toward deeper commitment, skill, and fellowship.
Introductory Archery & Brotherhood
We begin with accessible monthly gatherings that focus on archery and basic field skills.
Men learn how to safely handle a bow, shoot at targets, and enjoy friendly challenge.
Each evening also includes time for prayer, thanksgiving, and a short opening of God's Word for those who want to listen and discuss.
This is where Christian men and faith curious men start to know each other without pressure or pretense.
Training For The Hunt: PALs And Hunting Courses
As men grow in trust and interest, we help those who want to move further along the trail.
We organize group training pathways to obtain Canadian firearms licenses (PAL), hunting safety courses, and practical preparation.
Men can work through licensing together, study, train, and encourage one another.
Throughout this phase we keep meeting in the Word of God, talking about sin, repentance, grace, and what it means to follow Christ as men.
Christian Fellowship Hunts And Wilderness Trips
For men who are ready and properly licensed, our long term vision includes Christian fellowship outings for bow hunting, rifle hunting, and wilderness retreats up north.
These trips are not just about harvesting an animal. They are about shared work, early mornings, long sits, honest conversations, humble prayer, and worship for what God provides.
Around campfires and in quiet stands we open the Scriptures, talk about marriage, fatherhood, temptation, suffering, and hope in Christ.
The trail is narrow, but we do not walk it alone.
Who Is Narrow Trail Brotherhood For?
Men Of Faith
You are already a follower of Christ and want deeper brotherhood, real accountability, and a place to grow in masculine discipleship.
You want to use your love of the outdoors to reach other men and to be sharpened yourself.
You are willing to open the Bible, pray with other men, and carry one another's burdens.
Men Who Are Faith Curious
You may not know what you believe yet. You may have church in your past or none at all.
You are hungry for something real, tired of shallow entertainment, and drawn to the outdoors and honest conversation.
You are willing to listen, ask questions, and wrestle with what Scripture says about God, sin, forgiveness, and purpose.
No one here will force you to fake beliefs. You can come as you are, with respect, and consider the narrow trail that Jesus speaks about.
Both types of men will be in the same camp, learning from each other, and walking the trail together.
The Outdoors And The Gift Of God
Creation is not an accident. The forests, lakes, ridges, and trails are the work of God's hands.
When we walk a narrow deer trail or sit quietly at first light, we are reminded that the world is not about us.
God has given these places as a gift and a classroom. We learn patience, humility, dependence, and gratitude.
When God provides game on a hunt, we receive it with thanksgiving, use it wisely, and remember that every good gift is from Him.
Safety And Responsibility
We take safety seriously. Archery and firearms are tools that must be handled with respect.
Our goal is not thrill seeking. Our goal is disciplined, careful, and lawful use of equipment and land.
Our Commitments
- ✓A designated leader will oversee all shooting and training.
- ✓Clear range rules and commands for archery.
- ✓All archery practice is directed into proper targets with secure backstops.
- ✓No broadheads are used on practice ranges.
- ✓All firearms training and hunting is done in line with Canadian law and provincial regulations.
- ✓We encourage and assist men in completing their PAL and hunting courses through recognized programs.
- ✓All participants sign waivers and agree to follow safety instructions.
- ✓We carry liability coverage for activities where appropriate and work with landowners to respect their property and boundaries.
A Word To Landowners
Narrow Trail Brotherhood needs safe rural places to walk this out.
We are seeking landowners within a reasonable drive of Mississauga who are open to allowing small, supervised gatherings for archery practice and, where appropriate, future hunting access under clear agreements.
What We Need
- •A safe area for archery practice with a clear shooting lane and backstop.
- •In time, access to suitable land for lawful bow and rifle hunts for properly licensed men.
- •Clarity about boundaries, rules, and expectations on your property.
What We Offer
- •Respectful, supervised use of your land.
- •A clear safety plan and adherence to your instructions.
- •Liability coverage for organized activities, with documentation provided.
- •Men who will leave your property better than they found it.
If you are a Christian landowner who wants your land to be used for the glory of God and the building up of men, we would be honored to talk.
If you are not a believer but respect what you see here, we would still be glad to listen and see if there is a way to partner that feels right to you.
What We Believe
Narrow Trail Brotherhood is a Christian ministry that stands on the authority of the Bible and the good news of Jesus Christ. We affirm that:
- ✓God is holy, the Creator of heaven and earth, and worthy of all worship.
- ✓All people have sinned and fall short of God's standard.
- ✓Jesus Christ, the Son of God, took on flesh, lived without sin, died on the cross, and rose bodily from the dead.
- ✓Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, not by our works.
- ✓All who repent of sin and trust in Christ are forgiven, adopted as sons, and given new life by the Holy Spirit.
- ✓Christ calls His people to walk a narrow trail of obedience, holiness, and love, in the power of the Spirit.
- ✓God has given the local church as the primary place of worship, teaching, discipline, and mission. Narrow Trail Brotherhood seeks to support, not replace, healthy local churches.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience with archery or hunting?
No. Beginners are welcome. We start with basic archery and safety and build from there.
Do I need to be a Christian to come?
No. Any man who is willing to respect others, follow safety rules, and listen honestly is welcome. We will speak clearly about Christ and the Bible, but you will never be forced to pretend belief.
Is this connected to a church?
Narrow Trail Brotherhood is led by committed believers who are members of local churches. We encourage every man to be rooted in a sound, Bible teaching church.
How often do you meet?
Our aim is to meet roughly once a month in the warmer seasons and take a break in the deep winter.
Will there be rifle shooting and real hunts?
Our long term vision includes helping men obtain PALs, complete hunting courses, and participate in lawful, ethical hunts as Christian fellowship trips. All of this is done with care, training, and respect for the law and the animals we pursue.
What does it cost?
Some events may have a small cost to cover land use, gear, and training. We do not want cost to be a barrier. Men can talk to us privately if they need help.
